Do Your Best - Be The Best!
On July 20, 2004, Jimmy King called Diana Gano and accepted the coaching position for the newly formed Saints'
40s slow-pitch softball team. He also gifted the Saints 40s' team with two more coaches: his brother, Ray "Tony"
King, and Dicky Preciado who all put more than thirty-five years coaching women softball. Jimmy, Tony and Dicky had
all "retired" after the Big Apple team disbanded.
In the summer of 2004, the Arizona Saints 40s started their legacy by conquering a five-year undefeated team from California,
becoming the Senior Softball World Champions, and wearing their championship rings with great pride.
The Saints 40s team was the third team founded by Senior Saints Softball Inc., and they were truly welcomed. The Saints 40s
team is made up of softball athletes that know their stuff! That means they have softball fundamentals to win any tournament
they enter. They do just that!
